Lisa Weightman

Known fondly by her young nephew Tommy as “Goa … big runner”, while big is usually not what one would describe Lisa’s physique, her achievements and dedication to every success are just that…big!

Lisa is a two time Olympian, has represented Australia in six World Championship events (Cross Country & Road Racing), was a Bronze medalist at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, holds course records at Australia’s premier road events in Queensland, Perth, Tasmania and Melbourne and has many Australian titles, both on the track and on the road to her name.

A highly regarded business consultant and project manager at IBM, a passionate and dedicated young woman who demonstrates strong family values, commitment to improving community health through ambassadorial roles and motivational speaking, Lisa is a woman who demonstrates that we can have it all!

Her most treasured companions are her husband Lachlan and their little boy Peter Richard. She has arguably the best distance coach in the country in Richard Telford, her sister Jodi is her best friend and she is a credit to her parents, Culinary Queen Diane and VFL Rover and Coach Peter.
